Holly shiii, I have hit the jackpot of Thrifty finds. Why did it even take me years to finally get to this place? I've been coming to Barcelona since 2013 and for some reason (still yet to figure out) never got the chance to loose myself in the metro approximately a good 9 stops, making me land here! Heaven on earth of thrifty finds. Probably my wallet wasn't prepared for it (if I think of a reason) but HEY... still isn't 😂😂 soooo here it is. The mother of mothers on steroid of vintage goods. An afternoon filled with awwws and good happy tears from this happy woman.
La Taverna Catalana
As you step foot in Mercantic, you will come across with this lovely restaurant La Taverna Catalana. Displaying a beautiful selection of bottles (which would come in VERY handy during this time) over their intense crimson red bar creating contrast with its overall picturesque indoor decor.
The indoor market consists of small spaces rented by artisans and collectors offering their products and services to the visitors. Theres a particular space, which is not so little (this one) that offers the biggest thrift selection and plant arrangements hanging from the ceiling. My favorite of all spaces from Mercantic
