Hey there peeps! Soooo before I take off in the whole Colombia travel detail info and why we went to Armenia, rather than going to another main City, I want to really really really thank Angela for inviting us with our kids to discover her hometown. Let me knot forget to congratulate everyone, who for ten days, where patient enough (like us moms) for keeping three toddlers from the occasional rock throw attempt at each other, stick fights and the famous "wasn't me" hidden punches in between, which we clearly saw by around day 5 and became masters at catching them on time!

So there you have it! Moms were at their finest controlling their little Gremlins, and simultaneously had a blast learning and discovering about Colombia's Coffee Region. Armenia, Salento, Filandia, Buenavista and Montenegro where amongst the many picturesque little towns which we had the pleasure of visiting and where nearby our Home-

Every morning, Either Elena or Maria Teresa (Angela's aunts) would take us to the back of the farm to show us either trees that have been planted throughout their generations, some with more than 150yrs and others they have been planting for the past 20 years. We had a beautiful sensorial experience with fruits not only from Colombia, but also international trees which seeds had been brought from other countries and have given them exotic fruits.

There is no such thing as going to a coffee region without having the coffee experience! We were lucky to enjoy morning coffee from the actual farm. As every afternoon workers would flatten the coffee seeds to dry on the coffee beds, we had the pleasure to enjoy fresh morning coffee.
