Hey hey guys! how ya'll doing? anyone ready to celebrate this year's halloween?! have you... YES YOU been prepping for this month's 31st like noooo other? getting your Hotel Transilvania mode on? if you have answered yes to all three of them, then I must applaud you BECAUSE over here, we managed to get our hands on halloween decor just a few hours ago!!
and here's why
Oct 1st:
"Fede love, what would you like the house to look like for this year's halloween?"
Federico: "Mama, trains mama, trains!"
Me: "Love, it's spooky time... monsters, ghosts, vampires!"
Federico: "Monster rawwrr no mama.. Trains! Trains!
That conversation evolved into tiger conversations, more trains and let me not forget about dinosaurs!
Having Fede not fully comprehend the idea of this celebration, much less of ghosts, monsters and vampires IN HIS HOME, made me procrastinate into this year's decor ideas. I wanted him to see the transition that places such as: his school, our neighbor's houses, and stores were making throughout this month, in order for him to ask why weren't we doing the same thing like the rest of them without feeling scared about it. IT TOOK ROUGHLY ABOUT THREE WEEKS for the famous question to come up, and it happened in our drive back to school.
Fede: " Mama! Mama! booooooo mama, not scared, fun"
Me: "What's fun Fede?!"
Fede:" Ghosts mama, ghosts, that come with chocolate and gifts!"
Me--- you can imagine my face!
So there you go guys... a fun little story about how Federico has managed to defined the meaning of Halloween, and I hope you enjoy these last minute knick knack decor ideas for this year's spooky day!
