Hello there! are you ready for some funky home inspo?! Then I'm pretty sure you're ready to meet Catalina Gutierrez's home.
She's the owner and creator of Redviolet Studio art classes, and of this magical Miami apartment, to which she has managed to shower with the brightest of colors. Starting with her kid's weekly art classes, her husband's ( Gonzalo Fuenmayor) professional artwork career, to her many artsy friends, to whom she remembers dearly through many artistic self-expression that adorn her apartment walls. This Colombian / Miami based family has found the perfect harmony between colors, creativity, and decor.
As briefly explained by Cata, Mid-Century is her preference for the furnishing of her home, and it surely hasn't stopped her from her constant addition of craftsmanship pieces from places such as Mexico. "My passion for the 50's home decor goes hand- in- hand with my love for color, and patterned tapestries," Said Cata when talking about her apartment. " I love the combination of wooden pieces, with multicolored objects." Something that can be clearly seen as soon as you step in the Fuenmayor-Gutierrez's apartment.
Ready for some more color funfetti -friday...? LET'S GO!
Definitely, an afternoon well spent with an old neighbor of mine, talking about her goals for her ever-growing business RVC, along with her family's passion for the arts.
