workspace makeover with some thrifty finds

Nothing like having a little makeover in this side of the house. Where I spend the most time. Where Federico watches HIS MOANA (how he likes to call it) on repeat!  we have slowly transitioned from having our late afternoon countertop kitchen conversations, after Ivan arrives from work, to the studio. Let me tell you, it feels soooo good to have a cushion on your butt rather than the cold granite, touching your legs, that awakens you once seated with the hopes of AT LEAST being semi-warm (still hasn't happened).

This little corner has had a few transitions, but I'm finally introducing you, the final touches of half of the room! how do you like it guys?! made a quick stop in my nearest thrift shop and voila! a whole new shelf decor section was created and it's rocking bright colors, like a confetti fiesta!  The winners for the shelf were the blue and white vase, and the wooden hand carved piece.

Vase: Adding bright colored flowers (preferably warm tones) help the vase stand out a bit more.
Wooden piece: Its Blue circular hue resembles with that of the vase next to it, creating a warm color palette union.
