Deciding Fede's third birthday theme party, was definitely a no brainer! having a love affair with trains and an over abundance of tracks, made it SUPER easy to narrow down this year's decor. I have to admit, even though my love for decorating and getting crafty can go a long way, I often find myself over thinking the visual aspect of the final decor and super meticulous with details. This year, a couple of days prior to the celebration, I walked into Fede's room, and still without being clear with this year's theme, I looked around I said to myself: "That's it, he's got three baskets filled with trains!" "let's make it a chu-chu- train theme party!" and well... the rest is history!

I always strive to stay under budget when these particular days come throughout the year, so having a Dollar Tree store nearby the house, really... like REALLY helped me stay within my budget for Fede's party. It's amazing how much you can do, with few decor items, just by having them repeated and spread throughout the entire house! Crepe streamers, balloons, black tape, and colored cardboard where the protagonists of this year's birthday party... OH! let me not forget about the birthday boy! he definitely took the lead with the whole chu-chu theme situation!
