So here it is! My table reveal from our last nights (budget friendly) thanksgiving dinner. I have to admit, this was definitely a first for me when hosting not only this size of a group (for a meal), but also trying for the first time disposable tableware set. When celebrating any kind of gatherings at home, I go for the silverware and stoneware plate option, rather than filling up trash bags of plastic tableware after dinner (although time wise, VERY convenient). Last night there was an exception to be made, due to the amount of invites AND the fact that there was a budget I was told ;) not to go over! I was a bit reluctant at first when trying to visualize how the table would look like as a whole with plastic tableware set, but choosing a good combination of both disposable items and just the right colors to decorate, can definitely help you bring out the whimsical boho feeling in your table!!!
Tips for achieving a budget friendly "Whimsical Boho look" table
- Choose an earthly tone color palette.
- Buy OR cut "wild" flowers and leafs.
- Fill up the entire table runner.
- Create focal points throughout the table.
- Mix and match drinking glasses if you
don't have enough of one type!
- Have fun Making your own flower arrangements.
P.s. Our table was 15 feet long and since the table cloth wasn't long enough, I finished it with a black plastic table cover.
