Mondays are for Nutella cake and some #messytable

I love how both Fede and I get to celebrate our birthdays in the same month (July.) I remember fourteen days after he was born, Ivan surprised me with a small gathering at home with my loved ones. I was very thankful for the gesture he had made, BUT throughout the night I locked myself in the room and cried for some time, due to the lack of sleep I was experiencing at the time. I only wished for a good five hours of sleep ( without any interruptions... of course!).

Today, after two years, it brings me lots of excitement to know we are both Cancer ( Ivan fears for that... sometimes, who wouldn't right? ) and we have a long month of celebration TOGETHER!!!  When the days came, guess what I completely forgot? THE CAKE! with all of the hazle and making sure everything was perfect, I forgot to both bake or buy one. So today I decided to take matters into my own hands and even though its been a few days, I thought it would be only fair for mom to bake herself and Fede the ONLY desert recipe she knows... and how a little helper can "facilitate" the baking process. Me encanta el echo de que Federico y yo cumplamos los dos el mismo mes (Julio). Me acuerdo cuando nació y con tan solo catorce días con nosotros, Ivan quiso sorprenderme con una pequeña reunion en casa con mis seres mas queridos. Ame el detalle de Ivan, pero tube sentimientos encontrados a mitad de noche y me encerré en el cuarto a llorar de lo cansada que estaba. En ese momento solamente deseaba cinco horas de sueño como regalo (corridas... por supuesto!).

Hoy después de dos años, me trae mucha emoción saber que somos los dos del signo Cancer (creo que Ivan le teme un poco a eso -- y pensándolo bien, quien no?) y que podamos festejar nuestros cumpleaños en el mismo mes. Cuando llegaron los días para celebrar, adivina que se me olvida? LA TORTA!!! se me paso de largo comprar una, y con el corre corre de tener todo listo, también se me olvido hacer LA UNICA receta de postre que se hacer. La "famosa" torta de Nutella de Federica que muchos dudan si la hago, por lo mal que cocino. Aquí les muestro como suele ser la preparación de la torta y como un ayudante te puede "facilitar" el proceso.... que tengan un lindo comienzo de semana.
